Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) - February 27th 2001

What do you add to your pancakes?  Have you tried Brammle Whisky Liqueur for the gourmet touch?  Strawberry and Champagne or Apricot and Tangerine preserves give a real lift to the pancakes.    Don’t forget, as an alternative, savoury pancakes.  Perk up a ham and cheese filling with some of our Mustard Relish – not only does it improve the flavour it also adds to the texture, transforming an ordinary filling into something special.   Smoked Salmon with crème fraiche is a slightly lighter, but no less delicious, alternative filling.

Mothering Sunday - March 25th 2001

Give your Mum some flowers for Mothers’ Day.  We have sugar daffodil shaped toppings on our luxury handmade chocolates with fillings of creamy white and dark chocolate subtly flavoured with fruit pieces, orange oil and mixed spice, surrounded by a bitter dark chocolate.  This goes with a hexagonal box of Scottish Soap containing 3 small individual soaps gently scented with Honey and Oatmeal.  THE most perfect gift for Mum.
